ECOC Exhibition comes to a close
The event took place from 2-4 October in Glasgow, Scotland and was once again the key meeting place for more than 6700 attendees from across the fibre optic communication technology industry. With over 330 companies showcasing the latest products and services, the exhibition was the meeting place for their colleagues, customers and partners and the chance to hear about the latest developments in their industry.

MARKET FOCUS
More than 50 sessions took place across the three days covering everything from datacentres, photonics integrations and digital silicon photonics to fibre access, service and content provide optical transmission, Market Focus, sponsored by Acacia, now part of Cisco, showcased the very latest news and developments from leading organisations within the fibre optics community. Some of the slides from the excellent presentations will be available to view online shortly so please check back again soon.
AWARDS
The Industry Awards feature the following categories: Data Centre Innovation/Best Product, Innovative FTTx Product, Most Innovative Product, Optical Integration (SiPh and/or other), Optical Transport Award, and Best Fibre/ Fibre Component Product.

The Product Focus theatre, sponsored by Open XR Forum, will once again be one of the focal points of the exhibition hall and a place to hear about the latest innovations and product announcements.
